This parent information night aims to create a greater awareness and more positive outlook around youth online relationships, increase confidence to engage in positive conversations about online interactions, and explain the complexities behind sexually explicit images and what's presented in the media.
Sexting, nudes and waist ups are all words that most adults don’t want to think about when it comes to the young people they support and care for. Unfortunately crossing your fingers and hoping for the best won’t make the complex act of sexting go away. But it’s not all bad!
This informative workshop, funded by the Supre Foundation and delivered by the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, will debunk some of the myths around young people’s online relationships and the sharing of images, as well as provide practical tips about how to have important conversations with young people about their online safety.
