‘Oarsome’ results for our rowers!

Congratulations to our four rowers and coxswain who were invited by WAIS to trial for the WA Pathways Squad. Year 12 students Mignon duPlessis, Ashleigh Steilow and Tanika Webb were successful, with Georgia Keefe narrowly missing a place in the squad, which will compete as the WA Schoolgirls Team at the National Championships in April. With only 12 girls chosen, Penrhos students now make up an impressive one quarter of the squad. Alum and 2019 Pathways rower Captain, Becky Pretorious (2019), was also selected into the WA Youth VIII (Under 21 division) to compete at the same regatta.

Australian Beach Volleyball Championships – Coolangatta Beach, 15-18 March

We congratulate these exceptional volleyballers who will compete in the Australian Junior Beach Volleyball Championships on Coolangatta Beach on the Gold Coast 15-18 March. We have great representation in the U15-U18 age groups, with 11 of the 23 female WA competitors from Penrhos College! We wish you all the best of luck as you take on Australia’s finest beach volleyball players.
