With 13 teams and over 100 participants, Penrhos had the second-highest number of female teams competing in the state—a remarkable achievement!

We saw some standout individual performances that highlighted the hard work and dedication our athletes have put into training. Well done to everyone who competed, and thank you for representing Penrhos with such pride and fun.

IGSSA All Stars AFL

A special congratulations goes out to Mia Carlshausen and Matilda Power for their selection to represent Penrhos in the IGSSA All Stars AFL team. Competing alongside the best players from IGSSA, SSWA and ACC schools, both girls delivered stellar performances, with Mia earning the title of Best Player for the IGSSA team. This is a tremendous achievement, and we’re incredibly proud of them both!

It was a day to remember, full of camaraderie and personal bests.

Looking Ahead – Sport Awards Night

As we reflect on a fantastic term of sport, we now turn our attention to the inaugural Sport Awards Night, which will take place on Thursday, 10 October at Optus Stadium. This special event will celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students across all sports throughout the year. We are thrilled to welcome Eddie Ockenden, Olympic flag bearer, as our guest speaker, alongside Penrhos alumna Penny Squibb, fresh from competing in the Paris Olympics.

It promises to be an unforgettable evening!

It’s been an incredible term, and we’re so proud of all our students for their hard work, dedication and sportswomanship.
