What a whirlwind of a Term it's been! From thrilling competitions to heartwarming displays of school spirit, Term 1 has kept us on our toes and brimming with pride.

2024 Year 10-12 Interhouse Swimming Carnival
Interhouse Swimming Splashdown
Sparta takes the crown at the Year 10-12 Interhouse Swimming Carnival! It was a day filled with fierce competition and plenty of laughs. Shoutout to the students who made it the best-attended carnival in years.
Let's not forget the Junior School Swimming Carnival, where Troy showed us how it's done with their infectious chants and boundless energy.
Making Waves at IGSSA Swimming
Our swim squad rocked the pool, clinching 5th place overall. Massive congratulations to Sienna Hepworth for smashing the Year 11 50m Breaststroke record! With stellar performances and unbeatable team spirit, our swimmers truly made a splash.
IGSSA Swimming Carnival
Year 11/12 Badminton
Friday mornings were all about badminton this term, culminating in a cracking performance at the IGSSA competition. Our girls nailed it, finishing 4th and 2nd place in their divisions.
Summer Games Extravaganza
Year 4 and Year 6 students got their game faces on with a day packed full of sports. Whether it was cricket, AFL, water polo, or tee ball, our girls showed off their skills and had a blast learning something new.

AFL Victories and Volleyball Dominance
Congratulations to all our AFL teams, especially the pennant winning 7/8 A and B teams! Hats off to our unstoppable Volleyball squad, especially our Snr A team winning the pennant for an incredible 8th year in a row.
This term we have come away with an astonishing 9 pennants across all age groups and sports. Massive thank you also to all the Year 12’s that played IGSSA sport this term, many of whom have played since Year 7 in their chosen sports and have made a huge contribution to sport at Penrhos.

As we geared up for JIGSSA Swimming, a huge shoutout went to all our swimmers for their dedication and hard work. They kept up the good vibes and we made quite a splash at the event!
Looking Ahead
Get ready for the first ever PP-Year 12 Cross Country on 28 March, and brace yourselves for an action-packed Term 2! From Rowing Regattas to IGSSA Cross Country and everything in between, there's plenty more excitement on the horizon.
A massive shoutout to our incredible staff and coaches for their tireless dedication and support throughout the term.
