Penrhos was built on the generosity of past and present parents, staff, alumni and friends, whose support has shaped the school into what it is today. Their impact is felt across every corner of our campus, from the multi-story Fandry Centre for Sporting Excellence and the refurbished Rixon Theatre to the state-of-the-art Meg Melville Science Innovation Centre. The contributions of our community have also transformed the lives of numerous girls through scholarships and bursaries.

Like most private schools, Penrhos’ tuition fees do not cover all operational costs. It is the generosity of philanthropic giving that transforms our College. With your continued support, our future shines even brighter, ensuring Penrhos College continues to be a visionary leader in girls' education with limitless opportunities for generations to come.

Your gift, regardless of size, will continue to enhance our financial foundation, enabling the College to grow through the development of new buildings, state-of-the-art facilities and innovative educational programs for our girls of today, and of tomorrow.

Annual Giving

Every year, the Penrhos College Foundation invites our Community to participate in our Annual Giving campaign to donate to our Scholarships Fund and support families, who might not otherwise be able to benefit from a Penrhos education due to financial circumstances.

It’s the collective impact of our alumni, parents, staff and friends who participate each year in our Annual Giving that is making a profound difference to the lives of our students.

Building Fund

Gifts to our Building Fund enhance teaching and learning by enabling the construction of purpose-built facilities that help us provide opportunities for our girls to strive for the highest.

Donate to Building Projects

In 2021, the Foundation contributed two million dollars towards the opening of the state-of-the-art Meg Melville Science Innovation Centre - an outstanding facility that offers our STEM students an inspirational and welcoming learning environment.

It is a place where leading-edge laboratories and flexible learning spaces promote spontaneous collaboration and innovation across scientific discipline, encouraging every student to step outside their comfort zone in pursuit of knowledge and discovery.

This spectacular three-story Centre incorporates all the traits of a real-life working environment and will benefit generations of students, staff and the broader College community for decades to come.

Bequests and Legacy Giving

A bequest is a special way to leave your legacy and support future Penrhosians.

The Penrhos College of today, owes much to the values and vision of our founders and to the generosity of our donors and bequestors.

Throughout our history, bequests have enabled the Foundation to create scholarships and academic fellowships, and funds for the construction and improvement of school facilities. These generous and inspiring acts of our donors have enriched the educational experience for generations of students.

Making a bequest

If you wish to make a provision for Penrhos in your will or investigate a living bequest, please know that your gift – regardless of size – is significant and creates a permanent bond between the donor and the College. Donors may choose to direct their gift to a particular area of the College or in support of a scholarship that is important to them.

Scholarships

We believe that every girl should have the opportunity to realise her full potential. Through the Scholarships Fund, we aim to support families whose daughters demonstrate the academic aptitude and positive attributes necessary to thrive here, but due to financial constraints may not otherwise consider a Penrhos education.

Your support helps girls unleash their full potential, paving the way for a life without boundaries. By recognising and backing talented individuals with exceptional abilities but limited financial resources, you’re making a real impact on these students’ lives.
