Helping Hands
Helping Hands
In 2021, the Penrhos College Foundation proudly introduced the Helping Hand initiative, providing students and staff access to financial support to trial or implement innovative ideas across the College. Helping Hand grants ensure that Penrhos can implement cutting-edge programs, advanced technology and exceptional educational opportunities, providing an immediate benefit to our current students. With an annual allocation of up to $100,000, selected proposals come to life, bringing forth ideas that benefit the College and its current and future students. Examples of Helping Hand projects range from world-class cyber safety programs to inspiring picture books and impactful wellbeing workshops for our students.

Parent Support Groups and College Alumni
Parent Support Groups (PSG) and Penrhos College Alumni (Inc.) play an invaluable role within the College. The success of these groups depends on dedicated and enthusiastic parents who generously volunteer their time, talents and energy to enhance the College experience for both students and parents. The Penrhos College Foundation deeply values and appreciates the substantial contributions of these committed parents and alumni and are proud to support them in their various projects through grants of $5,000 that will directly benefit our students. Examples of impactful grants include initiatives such as the acquisition of a rowing marquee by Friends of Rowing or percussion instruments by Friends of Music.

The Penrhos College Foundation plays a vital role in sponsoring key events that bring our community together, celebrate College milestones, and inspire our students.
From the International Women’s Day Breakfast and Father-Daughter Dinner to the Production Soirée and Pre-12 Convention, the Foundation strengthens connections among students, alumni, families, and the wider Penrhos community.
