Flower Day graduating class giving

Flower Day is the undisputed highlight of our College calendar, as we celebrate the end of school with our Year 12s and wish them the very best of luck as they go into their exam period. It is a special time which is full of emotion, where families reflect on their Penrhos years and begin to consider the next stage in their daughter’s educational and life journey.

Each year, during the week following Flower Day, the families of our Year 12 cohort are invited to make a gift to the College, towards a fund of their choice. Options might typically include the Laos Project, an inspiring community service opportunity for Year 10 and 11 in South East Asia; the College Foundation Hardship Fund, to support the small number of established students whose families might suffer exceptional financial difficulties in their final years of study and require temporary fee remission; or the upcoming redevelopment of the Science Innovation Centre (build for which will commence at the end of 2019) in support of the national STEM agenda and the role our girls will have to play in the workforce of the future.

If you would like to find out more about how you can support Penrhos College, we warmly invite you to contact Development Coordinator Tanya Brooks on 08 9368 9711 or via develop@penrhos.wa.edu.au.

Thank you for being part of our thriving College community. We look forward to enjoying continued relations with you and your daughter for many years to come.
