Annual Giving Appeal

Did you know, the fees you pay for your daughters’ education cover just 70% of the running costs of the College? The work of the Foundation is integral to the growth and development of the Penrhos learning experience, ensuring our girls continue to have the very best facilities, environment, opportunities and resources.

The Foundation is playing an increasingly visible role in the life of the College, raising and allocating funds for major building projects, the Helping Hand initiative (which makes $100,000 in grants available to the community each year), significant wellbeing and co-curricular initiatives (Full Circle and Round Square), scholarships, bursaries and those special community events which we hope will grow understanding around what we do and foster our culture of Penrhos giving.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to the Foundation as we approach the End of Financial Year, we warmly invite you to make a gift to the Annual Giving Program.

In order to guarantee tax deductibility, please choose from the options below. If there is a more specific area or initiative you would like to support, please contact Sarah Woods, Development Coordinator on +61 8 9368 9711 or email woodss@penrhos.wa.edu.au

Scholarship and Bursaries

Designed to supplement the support we offer families whose daughters demonstrate the academic achievement and citizenship to prosper here, but whose financial circumstances mean they are not able to consider a Penrhos education.

Building fund

Gifts to our Building Fund enhance the exceptional Penrhos teaching and learning experience by enabling the ongoing evolution of our College Estates Masterplan, including the construction of purpose-built and state-of-the-art facilities which inspire our girls to strive for the highest.

Library Fund

Designed to ensure continued growth, development and innovation in our College Library technology, collections and resources for the benefit of all students.

Hardship fund

Donations go to members of our community who face temporary financial hardship. Our goal is to ensure that girls’ education remains a priority for these families, and that as many students as possible can either access or continue to enjoy the benefits of a Penrhos education.

Please note that gifts of more than $2 to the above funds are fully tax-deductible.
