The Penrhos College Foundation was established in 1987 to secure the future of Penrhos College and support the school’s strategic initiatives in education and opportunity to benefit current and succeeding generations of students.
The Penrhos College of today is a modern and dynamic Australian school at the forefront of educational excellence and innovation, and provides an exceptional learning experience for girls from Kindergarten through to Year 12.
Today’s students enjoy the quality of education, diversity of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and the opportunity to pursue their personal interests and passions in the supportive and nurturing environment that is Penrhos College.
The facilities which our current students enjoy, and the majority of scholarship opportunities offered are largely the result of the generosity of earlier generations who have invested in the future of our daughters and their College.
Income from tuition fees covers the operating and general costs, while philanthropic giving transforms our School and the learning experience for our girls.
Your generosity will empower future generations of leaders through the provision of new and enhanced academic programs, facilities, resources and diversity in the student cohort.
Ways to Give
Scholarships and Bursaries
Through the Penrhos College Foundation Scholarships Fund we aim to increase the support we offer families whose daughters demonstrate the academic achievement and citizenship to prosper here, but whose financial circumstances mean they are not in a position to consider a Penrhos education.
Building Fund
Gifts to our Building Fund enhance teaching and learning by enabling the construction of purpose-built facilities that help us provide opportunities for our girls to strive for the highest.
Hardship Fund
Each year, Penrhos College reaches out to invite our community to make a tax-deductible gift to support the work of the Penrhos College Foundation. These donations go to members of our community who are facing financial hardship to ensure that girls’ education remains a priority and that as many students as possible have the opportunity to either access or continue to enjoy the benefits of a Penrhos education.
By making a gift towards our Scholarships Fund, you significantly impact the life of a promising young girl who would not otherwise be able to attend Penrhos College.
*Please note all gifts of more than $2 to the Penrhos College Foundation Scholarships, Library and Buildings funds are fully tax deductible.
We are immensely grateful for any and all support extended to the Foundation; every gift, small or large, is significant and impacts on the future of our girls and Penrhos College through scholarships, buildings or special projects undertaken by the School.
This concept of giving and investing in the College’s future is more important than ever as we consider the ever-evolving world within which we, and our daughters, live.
The Penrhos College Foundation provides the opportunity for all in our community to play a vital role in Penrhos’ future and make a real difference for future generations.
