Reunions / annual events

Reunions are a great way for our Old Girls to catch up with friends. From the Leavers Reunion (held in March each year, roughly 18 months after graduation), right through to the 50 year celebration for our most distinguished Penrhosians, our popular class reunions are held on campus at regular intervals on the anniversary of graduation – at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 years!

In addition, Penrhos hosts a comprehensive calendar of regular events, some exclusively for our alumni (such as Shakers & Stirrers with Wesley Old Boys), and some for our broader community (including our Old Girls) designed to keep everyone connected with our diverse and far-reaching College community of friends.

Annual events

Shakers & Stirrers – Friday, 24 June 2022

Next event 2023

Our Shakers & Stirrers evenings provide an opportunity for our Old Girls to develop professional relationships and social connections with Old Boys of our brother school, Wesley College. This relaxed social evening is a popular event on the annual alumni calendar and is not to be missed!

Annual College Production Soiree

Thursday, 28 July 2022

This year the College Production is The Wizard of Oz and, as part of our opening night celebrations, Penrhos Old Girls are invited to come together for complimentary pre-show drinks and canapes. Invitations and tickets will be released soon.

Founders’ Day

Tuesday, 6 September 2022

Held in August / September each year, this event commemorates the day in 1951 when the Methodist Trustees passed a resolution to purchase St Anne’s Girls’ School in Angelo Street, thus founding MLC South Perth. The day’s activities include a Chapel Service, Student Assembly and performances, College Tour and a light lunch.

Grandparents’ Day

Other events

The College hosts many other events throughout the year, including our popular Gin & Jazz Soiree, International Women’s Day soiree, Speaker Series, College tours and regional Field Days – invitations are always extended and available to our alumni members.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the College campus this year, and in the future.
